If the damage is localised and the rest of the apartment is simply dusty or dirty, sometimes a full general cleaning makes more sense than a post-shelling clean — the team lead will advise on-site.
What to do before you start cleaning
If you plan to apply for compensation through the state’s єВідновлення programme, take photos and video of the damage before cleaning: several angles, dated, including anything not immediately visible (jammed doors, damaged utilities). The commission evaluates what’s in the photos, not what used to be there. Before entering the premises, also confirm it has been declared safe — the State Emergency Service (DSNS) provides that information.
